Benyard Family Cemetery

We’ll begin our trip to this cemetery on Main Street, in downtown Lucedale, Mississippi. Take Mill Street south at the corner of Main and Mill streets, you will come to the northern boundry (fence), of the Magnolia Gardens Cemetery on your left. The Benyard cemetery lies on the left (east) side of Mill Street and runs parallel with the Magnolia cemetery fence. The cemetery belongs to the Johnnie Benyard family and all maintenance and upkeep is done by them. The cemetery was well kept, and information was taken from all legible temporary grave markers and tombstone inscriptions. The cemetery was walked on the 7th of December 2007 by Jimmy Trussell.
